How does the mail-in repair process work?

It's simple: fill out our mail-in form, ship us your device using the prepaid label we email you, we fix it and ship it back — often same day we receive it. You get email updates at every step.

How long does a repair take once you receive my device?

Most repairs — screens, batteries, charging ports — are completed the same day we receive your device. Complex repairs like water damage or board-level work may take 1–2 additional days. We'll always communicate an ETA upfront.

Do I need to back up my phone before sending it in?

Yes, we strongly recommend backing up your device before shipping it in. While most repairs don't affect your data, backups protect you in any scenario. iCloud, Google Photos, and iTunes/Finder backups all work great.

Do I need to remove my Apple ID or Google account before sending?

Accepted Answer

For iPhone and iPad repairs, please disable Find My iPhone (Apple ID → Find My → disable) before shipping. This allows us to power-test your device after the repair. You do not need to factory reset or wipe your phone.

What happens if my device can't be repaired?

If we determine a repair isn't possible or isn't cost-effective, we'll contact you right away with a full explanation. We'll ship your device back at no charge and you owe us nothing.

How do I ship my device to Tech Savior?

After submitting your mail-in form, we email you a prepaid USPS or UPS shipping label. Pack your device securely (bubble wrap is ideal), print the label, drop it off at any USPS or UPS location, and we take it from there.

Is shipping covered by Tech Savior?

Yes. We provide a prepaid label for inbound shipping at no cost to you. Return shipping is also free once a repair is completed.

Can I track my repair and shipping status?

Yes. You'll receive email notifications when we receive your device, when the repair is complete, and when your device ships back. A tracking number is included in the return shipping notification.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we accept mail-in repairs from anywhere within the contiguous United States. International mail-in is not available at this time, but you're welcome to visit our Fort Worth shop in person.

We repair iPhones (all models), Samsung Galaxy phones, Google Pixel phones, iPads, Android tablets, MacBooks, and Windows laptops and desktops. If your device isn't listed, contact us — we may still be able to help.

Diagnostics are free on most devices — a fee may apply if parts need to be ordered or the repair is particularly complex. Either way, we provide an upfront quote before any work begins. You're never charged unless you approve the repair.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash for in-store repairs. For mail-in repairs, payment is processed securely online after the repair is complete and before we ship your device back.

What does your lifetime warranty cover?

Our lifetime warranty covers the specific repair we performed. If you experience the exact same issue with the same repair after we fix it, we fix it again at no charge — for the life of the device. The warranty does not cover new damage or unrelated issues.
